How to take song requests at a bar or nightclub

Keep the crowd out of your booth

First rule: requests don't happen at the booth. Put a QR code where people already stand around, and point to it every time someone leans over your gear:

• At the bar, where the wait gives everyone a minute to scan.
• On the tables and near the entrance.
• On a screen or the front of your booth, big enough to read from the dance floor.
